Uninsured Rate Lowers

The Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York today announced that it will move its Erie County operations to Airborne Business Park next fall. 

Dollar General’s newest store at 2737 Southwestern Blvd. in Orchard Park is now open.  A grand opening will be held tomorrow at 8am. 

Just 5.7 percent of the New York state population is without health insurance.  That's a historic low number of uninsured in the state, and a full three points better than the national uninsured rate of 8.7 percent.  The news for Western New York is even better, where just 3.7 percent of the region's population is without health insurance.   View a Univera Healthcare infographic on the new Census data here.
