The nomination deadline is fast approaching for the 2020 Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards.  The nominations will be accepted through October 25th at BNBEA.org.  The 14th annual awards recognize small, medium and large-sized companies in the WNY area for their ethical business conduct.   

Jon Williams, through an entity known as Riverview Innovation & Technology Campus, Inc., officially closed on his acquisition of the former Tonawanda Coke property.  Riverview will now coordinate with New York State DEC and the Federal EPA to identify applicable remediation programs and to begin the first phase of those programs.

National Fuel will conduct open interviews for full-time meter readers on October 23rd.  These sessions will be held at the Buffalo Employment & Training Center located at 77 Goodell Street in downtown Buffalo from 10am to 6pm.  Each candidate, 18 years and older, must bring his or her resume, have a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a driver’s license with a clean driving record.

The Northeast Clean Energy Council has named Launch NY among the finalists for Startup Supporter of the Year for its clean energy initiatives.
