National Fuel Gas Distribution Company estimates that its customers will experience a slight uptick in their natural gas bill from last winter by approximately $5.23 a month.  On average, residential heating customers should expect their five-month winter heating season bill, encompassing the months of November through March, to total $585.84, provided the weather is more typical of a Western New York winter. 

Los Angeles-based MedMen Enterprises Inc. has signed a letter of intent to acquire PharmaCann in a $682 million stock deal.  The resulting company would have cannabis licenses in 12 states, with 79 cannabis facilities.  Business First reports that would bring Buffalo's two operating dispensaries under common ownership.  There are still Health Department hurdles to clear before the state would sign off on the deal.

ALEX AND ANI, the jewelry brand best known for its trendy gold and silver stackable charm bracelets, will open a new store at Walden Galleria later this year.  ALEX AND ANI at Walden Galleria will be located in a 1,200 square foot store on the lower level next to Zara.

Invest Buffalo Niagara CEO Tom Kucharski has been elected as secretary/treasurer for the International Economic Development Council.
