Batavia Downs making preparations for tomorrow's Belmont Stakes.  Several onsite promotions will take place.  The on site simulcast center will be open today and Saturday from 11:30am until 8:30pm.  Western Regional OTB’s branches across western and central New York are also open for advanced wagers on Friday and Saturday.  Patrons are reminded that they must wear masks.  They can use either the valet entrance and take the elevator by Fortune’s or go through the main doors and up to the second floor.  The gaming floor remains closed at this time.

Hornblower Niagara Cruises will launch its seventh season on the Niagara River on Canada Day, July 1st.  There will be changes due to the pandemic, including timed ticketing and reduced guest capacity on the twin catamarans Niagara Thunder and Niagara Wonder.  Face coverings will be required while on board, guests will undergo a health screening and there will be increased cleaning for high-contact areas.

Beginning December 17th, Frontier Airlines will begin seasonal non-stop flights between Buffalo and Miami.  Business First reports the flights will depart on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.
