Uniland Development Company is proposing to construct the region's first flexible workspace for business in downtown Buffalo.  The plan is to transform a long-vacant warehouse at 505 Ellicott Street.  Under the concept, professionals would be able to utilize the business center through memberships with a time length of their choosing.  There will also be various pricing options.  Uniland plans to open the center by the end of 2019.  
McGuire Development Company has established a south Florida office.  McGuire Development has been an investor in Florida since the mid-nineties.  Its new office will be based in Ft. Lauderdale.  

HealthNow New York Inc., the parent company of BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, has promoted Julie Snyder to Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

Dairy Foods magazine has named Perry's Ice Cream as their “Plant of the Year” for 2019.  Perry's will be featured in the August issue.

Daemen College has been selected for the 12th consecutive year as a national College of Distinction in recognition of the institution’s excellence in undergraduate higher education.  This marks the third year the college has earned special program recognition in business, education, and nursing.
