Florida-based investment group Tight Holdings LLC  has purchased the Ken-Ton Fabrication Inc. showroom on Main Street for a reported $375,000.  Business First reports the tentative plan for the building includes a café or restaurant at street level, some second floor office space and apartments.  Ken-Ton Fabrication has already announced it's moving to the Military Road area in Buffalo.

The ECIDA has approved over $1 million in tax breaks to the proposed Barcalounger plant project.  According to Business First, developer Karl Frizlen and partner Michael Masters are expected to close on their deal to purchase the former manufacturing plant at 235 Louisiana Street next month.

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and Value Network have begun the region’s first behavioral health value-based payment agreement.  A value-based payment model focuses on quality of care, rewards health care providers for complete care management of their patients’ health and allows them to manage patients with more flexibility.

Buffalo-based trucking and logistics company SPEED Global Services has opened its first freezer and cold storage facility.  It's located at 1075 William Street.  The facility is FDA certified, New York State Food & Market Certified, SQF compliant and NSF Compliant.
