RCA Healthcare Management, led by majority owner of The McGuire Group Edward Farbenblum, has been approved by the court to enter a consulting agreement with Absolut Facilities Management LLC.  According to Business First, this agreement through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York would mean RCA would take over operations later this year at Absolut's Allegany, Aurora Park, Gasport, Orchard Brooke, Three Rivers and Westfield locations.  The agreement takes effect March 1st.

A Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center research team has come up with a new way to treat prostate cancer.  The treatment involves targeting two specific enzymes within the body, which has shown to be effective against aggressive prostate tumors in lab studies.  A two drug treatment is utilized to help prevent cancer recurrence.

Hurwitz & Fine P.C has named Jody Briandi managing partner.  That move goes into effect May 1st.

Asian stock markets have followed the lead of Wall Street by going lower.  This coming after a rise in virus cases in South Korea refueled investor anxiety about China's disease outbreak.  Benchmarks in Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Sydney all retreated.
