Citigroup Buys CrossPoint Building

Citigroup has finalized its purchase of its building in Uniland’s CrossPoint Business Park in Amherst.  According to Business First, that purchase price worked out to $52 million.  Citigroup currently has 1,800 employees, and may be considering an expansion within the business park.

NY State of Health, the state’s official health plan Marketplace, says that as of December 11th, more than 200,000 consumers have enrolled in a 2020 Qualified Health Plan.  That outpaces last year's enrollment at the same period last year by approximately 7,000 enrollees.  Consumers must enroll or renew by December 15th for coverage beginning January 1st, 2020.

From the Financial Times - Nestle has sold its U-S ice cream business including Haagen-Dazs to private equity concern Froneri for a reported $4 billion in a cash deal.  

Invest Buffalo Niagara President and CEO Tom Kucharski has been elected as the incoming vice chair of the Washington, D.C.-based International Economic Development Council.
