Tops Friendly Markets is investing in a $40 million capital improvement program.  Among the changes: new flooring, energy efficient equipment, cart corrals, shopping carts, and a whole new interior décor.  Local stores getting the upgrades are at 700 Thruway Plaza in Cheektowaga, 12775 Broadway in Alden, and 1740 Sheridan Drive in Buffalo.  The next phase will include more stores to be named at a later date.

CannonDesign has decided on space in the North Tower mezzanine of 40-50 Fountain Plaza for its relocated headquarters.  Business First reports Cannon will lease nearly 35,000-square-feet, with the move expected to take place this summer.

KeyBank's East Side branch anticipates opening June 3rd at 752 East Delavan Avenue.  Northwest Bank opened a branch on Jefferson Avenue back in January.   

The McGuire Group has announced Danielle Reusch has been promoted to assistant administrator/director of nursing at Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Lancaster.

USA Niagara Development Corporation announced that Anthony Vilardo has been hired as President.
