Buffalo Fire crews were busy in the early morning hours, fighting a large  fire that destroyed a house on Box Ave. Wednesday.

When fire crews arrived at 63 Box, near Kehr St., the vacant  house was already fully involved. Fire fighters had a difficult time finding hydrants with enough pressure to battle the blaze. They had initially thought the house was vacant, but later learned that a mother and her two children lived there.  After at first thinking the family may have been inside, they were located at a neighbor's house.

No injuries reported but a Channel 7 Photographer apparently captured video of a firefighter on the scene with what appears to be an ankle injury. (Below)
