West Seneca, N.Y. (WBEN) - West Seneca Police are investigating the discovery of two deceased adults inside a home on French Lea Road off Clinton Street in the town.

In an update on Wednesday morning, West Seneca Police said Gregory Grimmer, 61, and his step-daughter, Jennifer Villa, 31, were the two victims.

West Seneca Police Lieutenant James Unger said Wednesday they were alerted to the discovery by a call and said, "the caller is a family member and did return home to find her husband and her daughter that were both deceased".

Details about the investigation are few and far between. Unger told reporters that they're not ruling anything out, but there was no evidence of any break in, nor was there a need to test air quality in the home and no suspects in the investigation.

"It's going to be a big challenge," Unger said. "It's going to be an extensive investigation. This is where evidence is going to come into play to determine exactly what happened."

Unger said the two were found dead in the living room, but that the room was well-kept. He would not say if there was blood at the scene or if there was any evidence of gunfire in the home.
