Three People Found Dead in North Tonawanda

Believed to be the result of an accidental drug overdose

NORTH TONAWANDA (WBEN) - North Tonawanda Police say three adults were found dead inside of an Oliver Street apartment on Wednesday morning in what is currently believed to be an accidental drug overdose.

According to an official release from the department, a friend of the three individuals informed officers they had all consumed cocaine around midnight, but he then passed out. When he woke up, he found his friends unresponsive in various locations around the apartment, and he called 911.

There was no indication of a struggle or physical injury to any of the bodies, as the three were transported to the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office by the Niagara County Coroner’s Office.

The case remains under investigation.
