Teens Arrested in Robberies in Niagara

Two charged in parking lot robberies at Fashion Outlets

Niagara, NY (WBEN) State Police Niagara say they've nabbed two teens in connection with a pair of armed robberies.

Troopers say they responded last night to Fashion Outlet Mall on 1900 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY for a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot.  

While patrols were responding, Niagara County Sheriffs Office in a different area of the parking lot dispatched another report of an armed robbery.  Town of Niagara Police Department located and detained the 15-year-old suspect.  The Niagara Falls Police Department located and detained the second suspect, 16 year old Lazarus Martin. Troopers say they located a black replica gun and ski mask used in the crimes. 

Both suspects were arraigned at the Town of Lewiston Court. Martin was remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $20,000 cash and the 15-year-old was released to a family member. Both are to return to the Town of Niagara Court tomorrow.
