Standoff In Niagara Falls Ends After SWAT Enters House

Niagara Falls, NY (WBEN) - Niagara Falls Police and SWAT have arrested a man after a stand-off overnight.

Police were called to 2254 Whitney Avenue before 2:00 AM for reports of someone making threats.

The block of the street was closed off.

Around 5:00 AM a window to the residence was busted and WKBW video shows one person being walked out with the hands up by a SWAT officer.  Reports are at least two people were brought out of the house.

Police say it was a domestic incident.

They did not elaborate about the threats being made or if a weapon was involved.

No reports of any injuries at the scene.
