Scott Sentenced for Road Rage Incident
Gets 364 days for attacking driver on Walden Avenue

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) 28-year-old Rakeem Scott of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to 364 days in jail.
On December 19, 2018, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Scott was driving on Walden Avenue in the Town of Cheektowaga when he stopped his vehicle at an intersection to approach another driver. He was accused of dragging the victim, 41 year old Matthew Rudy, out of the vehicle and punching him in the face multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Scott pleaded guilty to one count of Assault in the Third Degree, a Class “A” misdemeanor, on August 30, 2019.
