Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The Buffalo Sabres finally win at home, shutting out the Detroit Red Wings 1 - 0.

Benoit Pouliot scored in the goal half-way through the second period. That's his second goal of the season. Victor Antipin earned his first point in the NHL by getting an assist.

Goalie Robin Lehner had to work hard to make the shut-out last through the game as the Red Wings poured it on in the third.  He stopped 32 shots for his sixth career shut-out.

No rest for the weary, the Sabres play the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in Columbus.
