Philadelphia, PA (WBEN) - Things were looking good for the Sabres in Philadelphia for the first four minutes.  Ryan O'Reilly scored his eight on a feed from Zemgus Girgensons 1:29 into the game.

However, the Flyers equalized the score 4:02 into the first.  They scored again late in the second and the Sabres did not respond the rest of the game.  Buffalo lost to Philadelphia 2-1.

The Sabres got 20 shots on net, while goalie Robin Lehner faced 27.

Buffalo had earned points in the four games prior to this one.

The Sabres play the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at KeyBank Center.
