Reward offer of $6,000+ for information about tortured dogs

Two dogs tortured and killed in Lockport has one person offering $5,000

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Niagara County Sheriff's Office announced that many are offering reward money for information that leads to the arrest of a person who is torturing dogs.

Two dogs were found tortured and dead on Wilson Road in the Town of Lockport. 

Cuse Pit Crew inc. of Syracuse is offering $1,000 while a local family is offering $250. One woman from Seattle offered $5,000. 

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says it will be working with Crimestoppers to set up a fund for those wishing to pledge money for a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the Wilson Road dog abuse case.

Anyone with information about the torture and death of the dogs is asked to call the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau at 438-3327 and ask to speak with Investigator Brian Bloom or Captain Bruce Elliott.
