(WBEN) - Will we be seeing yet another new Sabres jersey on the ice this fall?

The NHL is changing its jersey manufacturer from Reebok to Adidas beginning next season, and several teams will be looking to make design changes.

A report from Chris Creamer's says that 12 teams will be making changes to their uniforms next year, and among them is the Buffalo Sabres.

In the report, Creamer said the changes would not include swapping the team's primary logo. The changes would be made to the team's home and road jerseys. The Sabres were already expected to wear a special new jersey for the 2018 Winter Classic that will be held in New York City.

According to the report, the new designs are expected to be announced at or just prior to the NHL Draft on June 23.
