NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WBEN) - Preparations continue at Niagara Falls for Erendira Wallenda's upcoming stunt on Thursday. A trial run for the stunt occurred on Tuesday morning.

"We graciously partnered with Rainbow Air here in Niagara Falls who did the fly-by for us," New York State Parks Spokesperson Angela Berti said. "He tried to replicate what we'll be seeing on Thursday morning."

Wallenda will hang from a helicopter by her teeth over Niagara Falls on the five-year anniversary of her husband, Nik's, daredevil stunt. Nik Wallenda walked on a tight rope over Niagara Falls and garnered a massive amount of national and international media attention.

While Erendira Wallenda's stunt isn't necessarily as grandiose as her husband's event, Niagara Falls officials still believe this stunt is a prime opportunity to capitalize on the attention around the globe, which is why the stunt is happening on Thursday morning.

"(The Wallenda's) presented this as a made-for-TV event when we talked to them," she said. "Because the fact it's so high up, it's going to be difficult to see so they are urging people to watch it from home."

Challenges for the stunt according to Berti is the communication between the Wallenda's and local officials. Berti couldn't speak on specific security measures, the exact route the Wallenda's are taking, or if the Wallenda's are saving any acts for television. However, another press conference is expected for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Wallenda's in attendance.

Berti still encouraged people to visit Niagara Falls and said Terrapin Point on Goat Island is the best location to watch Thursday's stunt.

"If you bring a good set of binoculars you can see the teeth really work in there," she said. "If you have the time and you wanted to come that would be great."
