Police Athletic League to Hold Auction on Tuesday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown on Thursday announced this year's auction sponsored by the Buffalo Police Athletic League.

The auction will run on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on Franklin Street in Downtown Buffalo.

"This is always an important event for the police athletic league to provide much-needed funds for the great programs and services that the police athletic league provides for children in the Greater Buffalo Area," Brown said. "This great organization serves over 20,000 children in the Greater Buffalo area so I encourage the community to come out like you always do to support a great cause."

NFL Hall of Famer and former Buffalo Bills General Manager Bill Polian is the featured guest at this year's PAL auction which will support educational, athletic, and cultural programs that benefit childrens age 5-21.

Prizes include vacation home opportunities in Florida and North Carolina, a weekend in Ellicottville, a cruise for 20, plus smaller items like signed sports memorabilia, and even a snow blower.

Tickets are $75 for individuals and $125 per couple. Tickets can be purchased at buffalopal.com
