Pendleton Man Charged with Sexual Abuse

Niagara County sheriff's say he abused several victims

Pendleton, NY (WBEN) Niagara County Sheriff's deputies charge a Pendleton man with sexually abusing several victims.

Deputies say 45 year old Christopher M. Wright, 45 was arrested and charged last Friday with Sexual Abuse 1st degree, two counts of Criminal Sex Act 2nd degree, and six counts of Sexual Abuse 2nd degree. He was arraigned by Justice Kevin Mack in Pendleton Town Court and bail was set at $200,000/$400,000.

Tuesday, he appeared in Niagara County Court, at which time he was remanded without bail on his previous charges that he was arrested for in December of 2016.

Wednesday, Wright was additionally charged with two counts of Criminal Sex Act 2nd degree and four counts of Sexual Abuse 3rd. Justice Mack again arraigned, and no additional bail was placed.

Wright has a return court appearance in Pendleton Town Court next Wednesday afternoon at 1pm.
