NT Man Accused Of Trying To Pass Counterfeit Cash

City of Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) A North Tonawanda man is awaiting arraignment after he was arrested for attempting to pass counterfeit money. City of Tonawanda Police say that 36-year-old Daniel Pacana was arrested a short time after trying to purchase items at Tops Markets on Niagara Street and fled the store after he was informed the money he was using was counterfeit. When police apprehended Pacana, they discovered a wallet and credit card that had been reported as stolen.
