Nothing suspicious found after bomb threat at Williamsville North

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WBEN) - A bomb threat at Williamsville North High School prompted a shelter in place on Tuesday morning.

A school official told WBEN that a student found a note with the threat on the hallway floor. That students brought the note to administration, who then called police. 

In a statement, the school said that the police department found nothing suspicious during the search of the school. 

Students were released from the shelter in place and resumed normal school activities at approximately 12:40 p.m. The Amherst Police Department are investigating the threat.
