Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Overnight, the season changed from summer to fall, and meteorologists say the outlook should be normal for this time of year.

As for summer, National Weather Service meteorolgist Aaron Reynolds says it was an average summer. "We started out fairly cool in June where we ran several degrees below normal, but July and August we were a few degrees above normal," says Reynolds. "As far as seasonal precipitation, we had 32 inches, which is five inches higher than normal."

As we begin fall, Reyonlds expects more of the same for the season. "Temperatures will be right where they should be," says Reynolds. But he does not this week might be a bit chillier. "We have a front going through and temperatures will be right where we should be for this time of year. Temperatures on Tuesday should be 68," says Reynolds.
