Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Mayor Byron Brown says he's furious over the most recent shooting in Buffalo, and he wants anyone with answers to come forward.

"I'm asking anyone with information regarding the individual responsible for this shooting to come forward to the Buffalo Police Department," says Brown. Brown responded to early Monday's shooting on Grape Street that claimed the lives of a 54 year old woman and her 17 month old grandson. Two men suffered minor gunshot wounds and were treated and released from ECMC.

"The public is outraged by these shootings, demanding justice, and providing good information to police," adds Brown.

Brown says a number of homicides have been solved with the help of the public.

"A grandmother and grandchild targeted by a killer, just a horrible, horrible act of violence in this community, and residents are saying they will not tolerate it," says Brown.
