Buffalo, NY (WBEN) An inmate at the Erie County Holding Center was arraigned Friday on charges he attacked his attorney during a meeting last week.

54-year-old Mark Dublino is charged with felony Assault While Confined in a Correctional Facility and one count of Attempted Assault with Intent to Cause Serious Injury. Deputies say Dublino attacked Joseph Terranova as they met in a "contact approved" meeting room at the holding center.

The attack happened just days before he was to be sentenced for a sledge hammer attack on his ex-girlfriend. The sentencing was postponed as Terranova moved to bow out as Dublino's attorney.

Dublino is scheduled to return on March 20 at 9:30 a.m. He remains remanded without bail.

If convicted on all charges, Dublino faces a maximum of 7 years.
