Indictment: Mlyniec Shot Victim to Prevent Sex Abuse Allegations Report

Perry, NY (WBEN) An indictment against a Perry man claims he shot a man to stop sex abuse allegations from going forward.

Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputies say 60 year old Joseph Mlyniec fatally shot 32 year old Robert Irvine III at the board member's driveway in March.

The indictment says the former deputy shot Irvine to stop the 32 year old from making the allegations.

Mlyniec is being held without bail.

Motions are scheduled for June 21st.
