Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) Donations are continuing to pour in for Jessica Cameron, the woman who was set on fire last week.

Tonawanda City Mayor Rick Davis says as of Friday, donations to a Go Fund Me page reached $18,000. "Most of them are complete strangers who really identify with the victim and the fact that she's got a very young family," says Davis.

He adds the story is getting international attention. "I've heard of some media outlets in the UK picking up on it. It's a horrific story," notes Davis. "On one hand, there was something so heinously done here in our city, but on the flip side, you've had an outpouring of support from the community and total strangers opening their arms to this family."

Davis says people have also been dropping off needed supplies at the Tonawanda Fire Department as well as making donations at the Tim Hortons where both Cameron and suspect Jonathon White worked.
