Frontier High Senior Killed in Crash

Students will pause to remember Monday morning

 (WBEN) - Students and staff at Frontier High School will take time Monday morning to remember a graduating senior who was killed in a Saturday morning crash along Southwestern Boulevard near Transit Road.

18-year old Edward Travis IV was killed in the accident in West Seneca that sent three others to the hospital less than a week before graduation.  Travis was the driver of the car that crossed over the center line on Southwestern Boulevard and ran into a Jeep driven by 62-year old Russell Desiderio.

Travis's passenger, 18-year old Elizabeth Rybarczyk underwent emergency surgery at ECMC and was listed in stable condition.

West Seneca Police told WBEN that the two-car crash happened around 8 a.m. near Southwestern Boulevard and Transit Road.

Both passengers in the other car were treated and released. The accident remains under investigation.

Travis attended the schools Senior Prom this weekend and was reportedly on his way to do some volunter work when the crash happened.
