Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - A water main break on Hertel Avenue near Jasper Parrish is flooding the street.  Buffalo Police have closed Hertel from Military Road to Page Street.

A repair crew is on the scene to see what they can do.  So far no word when the break might be fixed.
Right now they're working to shut off the water and re-open Hertel.

That's not all, be prepared for a challenging morning commute.  From police scanner activity, it sounds like road conditions are slick, and there was at least one report of a traffic signal being out.

In addition, flights to and from the East Coast are still subject to cancelations or delays thanks in part to our weather and the remnants of the storm that swept up the coast yesterday.  Check your flight if you have plans to fly east today.

That information is HERE.

Also, many schools in Western New York are closed today.  You can check out our listings HERE.
