Cambria, NY (WBEN) A driver is hospitalized after a Friday morning crash.

Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies say they received a report from OnStar that a black Camaro was involved in a collision with airbag deployment in the area of Route 104 (Ridge Rd) and Route 429 (Townline Rd). NCSO and Lewiston patrols canvassed the area to locate the vehicle.

Investigators determined that a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro travelled northbound through the intersection and struck a guide rail before continuing several hundred feet into a heavily wooded area and ravine on the north side of Ridge Road. Emergency responders extricated a male driver from the vehicle.

Mercy Flight flew the victim to ECMC. His name is not being released.
