BUFFALO (WBEN) - Two more Western New York Priests are beilng placed on administrative leave following allegations within lawsuits filed under the Child Victims Act.

Paul Nogaro, a Pastor at St. Stephen Parish on Grand Island, and Rev. Msgr. Peter Popadick, a Pastor at St. Aloysius Parish in Cheektowaga were both placed on leave.

According to the Diocese, they became aware of the abuse claims only after they were detailed in lawsuits filed on Wednesday.

The Diocese has said they will conduct investigations into the conduct of the priests, but emphasized that the administrative leave designation is for the purpose of the investigation and does not necessarily imply any truth to the claims of abuse.
