BUFFALO (WBEN) - An excited Byron Brown was at Shea's yesterday to remind all Western New Yorkers of the crazy, in a good way, week and weekend ahead in Buffalo.

"'Hamilton' begins a three-week run at Shea's Performing Arts Center, so it will be very busy, very vibrant down here," said Brown. "The Sabres will host a pair of games on Wednesday and Friday, Black Friday launches the official start of the holiday shopping season. We anticipate that all of the business districts in the City of Buffalo will be extremely busy. We're encouraging people to shop local, shop in the city - all of your shopping needs can be found right here."

He went on to note that 13,000 people are expected to head to the Buffalo Convention Center this weekend for the 25th anniversary of the World's Largest Disco.

Also, some good news for Western New York shoppers...Brown, in parternship with the Buffalo Common Council, has announced that all street-metered parking spaces in shopping districts throughout the city will be free on Black Friday.
