President Frank L. Ciminelli has taken control of the day-to-day business of LP Ciminelli in conjunction with the Board.  Former FBI Special Agent and Chief Division Counsel Paul M. Moskal has been hired to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment and initiate a robust compliance program.  According to Business First, the three indicted LPCiminelli executives have resigned from the Buffalo construction firm.

Key state approval has been granted to Northwest Bank for the opening of two new Buffalo-area offices.  Business First notes those branches are at 1219 French Road in Depew and 827 Hopkins Road in Amherst.

The Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation plans a late morning announcement about the future of the Galbani Italian Heritage Festival.  It's expected that the July festival will relocate to Canalside.

Daemen College’s Professional Master’s Athletic Training Program, one of only two accredited programs in New York State, has received continuing accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
