Northtown Automotive Companies will hold a Grand Opening tonight to celebrate its new Kia dealership at 3900 Sheridan Drive.

Bak USA will be hosting a hiring event between 10am and 6pm at the Buffalo Employment and Training Center at 77 Goodell Street in Buffalo Friday.  The interviews are for anyone interested in full-time employment as assembly operators or quality assurance agents at their facility on Michigan Avenue downtown.

Daemen College has been ranked nationally in the inaugural Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings that focus on student success and learning.

All women ages 50 to 74 should be screened for breast cancer every two years, but one in five upstate New York women in this age group doesn't according to a new report from Univera Healthcare.  This year in upstate New York, 3,800 women will be newly diagnosed with breast cancer and the disease will cause more than 600 deaths.  To learn more about preventative measures, follow this link.
