Erie County Medical Center Corporation closed 2016 with a $2.1 million operating surplus on its total $593 million in operating revenues.  2016 proved to be an incredibly productive year for the hospital.  Among the highlights: Total inpatient visits increased by 22.5%, while outpatient visits grew 20.1%.

Lockport-based marketing firm J.Fitzgerald Group has completed major website overhauls for the Historic Palace Theatre in Lockport, and Next Level Coaching, an Amherst-based business consultant firm.

Discount retailers T.J. Maxx and Marshalls are the latest stores to get rid of signs showing they sell Ivanka Trump's line of clothing.  The Boston Business Journal reports all Ivanka Trump merchandise will no longer be featured - but mixed in with "runs,” or normal clothing racks in the store.

On Saturday February 11th at 10am, Tony Walker & Company will launch their Valentine’s Beauty Box for $20.  All proceeds go to the KISS Cares for Kids Radiothon to benefit Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.  Tony Walker is at 5110 Main Street in Williamsville.
