Arrest In Springville Auction Accident

One died, three hurt in June incident

Springville, NY (WBEN)  87-year old Frank Cartonia of Williamsville has been arraigned before Springville Village Justice Kelly O’Neal Adams to one count of Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree.

Cartonia is accused of recklessly driving his vehicle in the parking area of the Springville Auction June 26th causing the death of one person. Three others were injured.

Cartonia is scheduled to return on January 17, 2020 at 9:00 am in Springville Village Court. He was released on his own recognizance.

If convicted on the charge, he faces a maximum of 1 year in jail.
