Bronx teen dies after being shot in the chest; no arrests

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Police Department is investigating the death of a Bronx teen who was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Police responding to a 911 call around 5 p.m. Saturday found the teen at the intersection of Ward and Watson avenues in the Bronx.

He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified as 18-year-old Robert Williams.

An investigation is underway, and no arrests have been made.
