Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - It's a wintry President's Day across Buffalo and Western New York.  An additional 1 to inches of snow is possible across the region through midday with the possibility of some light ice accumulation as well.  A Winter Weather Advisory is posted.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Periods of snow, along with some patchy freezing drizzle
across Southern Erie and Wyoming counties early. Additional
snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches and ice accumulations of up
to a few hundredths of an inch.

* WHERE...The Niagara Frontier.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Periods of snow and freezing drizzle will result in slippery
roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while
driving.

through early this morning. Additional snow accumulations of an
inch or less and ice accumulations of up to a few hundredths of
an inch.

* WHERE...The western Southern Tier.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.
