BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo man accused of murdering a person during an evening commute on the 190-North was formally indicted by a grand jury on Monday on second degree murder charges.

Juan Colon, 22, allegedly shot and killed Angel Marcial, 25, on July 9 around 6 p.m. near the Niagara Street exit of the interstate. Colon fled following the shooting, which New York State Police believed was a targeted attack. He was arrested in the City of Buffalo on Friday, July 13.

Colon is scheduled to be arraigned in a superior court next week. No date was given.
